What do I do if I receive a citation?

The maximum fine is $40 for each violation and is stated on the citation. Since the violations are being treated as civil and not criminal violations, no license points are assessed and vehicle insurance providers are not notified.

You must pay the civil penalty on or before the due date indicated on the citation.
